Heidi and Dolly, do you have room for 2?
The Underdog Railroad Rescue needs your help! Dee and her team have made another trip across the border to rescue two lovely sisters from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. Heidi (red head with freckles) and Dolly (blondie with darker spots) are approximately five months old, up to date on all shots and weigh about 30lbs. They have wonderful dispositions and love to cuddle.
The girls are as healthy as can be, outside of a leg injury that is thought to be a result of a gunshot. One of the bones in Heidi’s left foreleg is shattered and requires surgery.
Rescuing dogs is an admirable undertaking that warms the heart but is not without challenges.
Determined to get Heidi the medical attention she needs, Dee has created a “chipin” page. If you’d like to chip in towards Heidi’s surgery and recovery costs please follow the link or you can drop off a donation at The Bone House. Forego a latte today, every little bit will help.

Once Heidi has her surgery the girls will be up for adoption!
These young lab mix pups have been through a lot, the only constant in their short lives is each other. They are incredible bonded! Their forever home must have room for two. For more information and updates please check out Dee’s blog.
