Fall Fun

The weather has gotten colder but it is beautiful outside! 

Tega lu, Charlotte and I spent an afternoon at The Brick Works. A lot of people don't realize there is an off leash area up where the trails begin. It's a lot bigger than the area just off the parking lot. It is only fenced on three sides but the side not fenced is a steep embankment. I've never had a problem there, even with Tega lu who has been known from time to time to follow her nose and ignore all recall training. 

Be prepared for a little clean up after this adventure. There's a creek running through the area which is super fun for the dogs but a bit muddy. So the next time you are looking for a fun little escape from your neighborhood dog park, grab your travel mug of hot chocolate, pack a towel or two and check out The Brick Works!
